The second edition, published in March 2007, brings the story up-to-date with a new chapter that describes what happened to Wiremold’s Lean management efforts since 2001.

Bob is also the author of REAL LEAN: Understanding the Lean Management System (Volume One), published in February 2007, and REAL LEAN: Critical Issues and Opportunities in Lean Management (Volume Two) was published in July 2007. These books are written for senior managers and explain the purposes, advantages, myths, and misinformation surrounding Lean management, with particular focus on application of the "Respect for People" principle.

Bob is working on two new books: Practical Lean Leadership: A Strategic Leadership Guide for Executives and REAL LEAN: The Keys to Sustainability (Volume Three). These will be published in 2008.
