Vincenti (832-1838) Program SheetThe undergraduate program in Technology & Engineering Education K-12 prepares students for teaching technology in the elementary grades, junior and senior high schools, and in adult education. The degree is also suitable for students interested in becoming industrial trainers and for vocational teachers who are interested in teaching Technology comprehensively versus a specific occupational skill. The four-year curriculum provides specific training in Technology & Engineering Education as well as in the humanities, the social and behavioral sciences, mathematics, natural sciences, fine arts, and physical education. Students must make formal application for admission to the Professional Program of Technology & Engineering Education K-12 after completion of 45 credits in coursework. At least 15 of these credits must be from the technical requirements list below. Applications are available from the Dean of Education and Professional Studies, Barnard Hall, and must be filed prior to September 10 and February 10. Acceptance is prerequisite to TE 400, EDSC 425, EDSC 414, EDSC 415, EDF 415, and SPED 315. See Admission to Professional Program for complete information.
