Program Description:

The Construction Management program prepares men and women for management and supervisory professions in the challenging world of construction. The curriculum focuses on field operations, estimating, and project management processes as they relate to building and heavy/highway construction projects. Analytically based mathematics, science and civil engineering technology courses along with business and management courses round out the program. Computer related applications include: Expedition, Primavera Project Planner, Timberline Precision Estimating and Microsoft Office. Laboratory experiences, field trips and student club activities are an integral part of the student's academic experience.

This accreditation provides recognition of the attainment of professional goals and standards for Industrial Technology. Career Outcomes:

Entry level positions such as assistant superintendent, project engineer and junior estimator are typical. Graduates soon become project managers, superintendents and chief estimators for construction management firms, general contractors and specialty contractors.
